This church has a large community hall that is used by various groups and needed to replace the boiler which was condemned last year.
Collingwood Centre Ltd - Queslett
Over 30 different groups use this facility and the centre is undergoing refurbishment and needs some blinds, curtains and a digital noticeboard board.
Brunswick Healthy Living - Leamington Spa
Brunswick offers lots of different activities for people suffering from dementia and provides health and wellbeing activities. The monies would fund decoration, storage and furniture.
The Streetly Association - Queslett
This centre offers various activities to the whole community and is used by various user groups. The money requested is for the upgrade of disabled toilets and baby changing facilities to meet current regulations. They also need to clad the roof to the youth centre and install low energy lights.
Putson Community Association - Hereford
This is a welcoming community centre in the heart of Hereford and provides a big number of classes from sport to workshops and community activities. The monies requested was for a new boiler as the existing one is 10 years old and very unreliable.
South Wye Development Trust - Hereford
In the photo is June the Community Champion and Stuart the General Store Manager, not only did the store and the Asda Foundation support with £1,000 to give an extra special Christmas event for the users of the centre, they also thought it was such a great project that needs financial support. The centre is a real hub of the local community with a variety of events on a daily basis including dance classes, youth groups, historical learnings, basic skills – knitting, writing, language classes (English) and many more. They received a surprise of £10,000.
My Options - Donnington Wood
Asda Foundation supports My Options in Donnington Wood, not only did we fund the party for all in the local area who attend the group, we also surprised them with a cheque for £4,000 to help support more activities throughout the year to further boost independence for the young adults with learning difficulties.
Barnes Hill - Cerebral Palsy Midlands
They provide a day service and the funding will provide a mini bus with disabled access to enable the groups to go to medical appointments and leisure activities.
